Decided to detail my own car today...
Thought it was time to detail my own car, instead of clients car's..
In preperation for the up and coming show season, I decided to do some slight paint correction.
There has been some very minor swirls inflicted during the course of last year due to "Car show" washing.. nothing too major.
The car itself hasn't been washed since August, and seeing that it went for a service on Monday, it picked up a little dirt. Plus I've a show to go to tomorrow at Santa pod.
So no before pics as it was clean anyway..
I opted first for a megs finishing pad and some Menzerna PO85RD.
The swirls came off a treat so I stayed with this option.
Once machined, I opted for some Clearkote Red Moose Machine Glaze put on with a megs finishing pad and topped off with some Victoria Concours Wax by hand.
I was pretty impressed with the outcome.
Trim - Poorboys trim restorer
Tyres - Megs Endurance Gel.
Here's some finished pics:
And the engine bay which I didn't really need to touch
Hope you like
