Hi all, i have been reading loads of people on here recomending poorboys products, ive personally never heard of them, would i find them in halfords or where? seen the pics on the other thread and am very impressed, what makes their products so good? is it just wax they do? what would ytou recommend i get tomorrow to give my car a good seeing to!!!

a friend of mine is the auhorised dealer for the stuff and he recently gave mine a full valet using it, took him 12 hours and had to leave it overnight

You won't get results like you have seen on the other thread without reading up and buying the correct products and tools (orbital polisher).

If you're a casual cleaner then something like Meguiars NXT or Zymol cleaner polish will do, you can get these from Halfords.

If you really want to get serious then you'll be looking at the best part of £300 to buy the right tools and products.

I like the Poorboys stuff because it's cheap, gives good results and is easy to apply and remove, but there are other brands that can do the same or better.

Posting a few pics of cars last done with poorboys carnauba blue, regardless of the colour of your car-even though it specifies for dark colours me mate tried it on his series 1 escort rst and were blown away, now we`ve all used expensive waxes and polishes in the past however personally ive come to the conclusion poorboys polish with carnauba blue is the best polish you can get for so little effort/expense and for such a good finish.
I also use poorboys EX sealant now an again and my favourite wax is p21s though dont use this that often.

I'm a master UK distributor for Poorboy's products for these simple reasons: the products work very well, they are easy to use and offer great value for money. excellent, ive liked very much what ive seen and heard and have ordered Poorboys spray and rinse to use on alloys occasionally and the Polish with carnuba blue.

Im still sadly awaiting exitedley for my poorboys polish hehe, have just found some t-cut stuff in the garage and was wondering wether it is worth using it WITH poorboys polish or is their no need to, is poorboys polish enough? if i do use it aswell do i tcut last or do i tcut it before i polish?

I shouldnt think you need the t-cut m8, PB's should do a better job than the t-cut,once you polished you could then use a glaze if not applie your sealant/wax.

Richie has just had in or getting in a poorboys polish which has an added sealant too it,so it will polished and protect in one shot.

What are you applying it with ?

Bin the T-Cut... terrbibe product, outdated, poor quality, does more harm than good. For light polishing duties the Poorboy's product will be ideal, if you need anything more aggressive for swirl removal then Menzerna Intensive Polish is your best bet. Both products are best applied using a German Pad.

Menzerna all the way for me,thats why most of my polishes have been sold......to make way for the full menz's range < for paint correction,for lsp im trying the Jeffs Werkstatt range,the polished bliss team have made some awesome looking results with this stuff.

have just received my poorboys polish and alloy wheel spray and rinse. I havent washed the car properly yet but have just got the jet spray working and gave the alloy wheel cleaner a go, a jeeeeeesus that stuff is brilliant, my alloys are now gggggleaming. am well pleased and very very impressed

Use your new polish to seal the wheels, will make them much easier to clean next time.

thanks for the tip, will give that a go. Am thinking of exporting the car to jamaica tomorrow so i can get enough sun to clean the bloody thing.....damn rain ggrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!
