That's it, I quit...
Well, as many of you know, the last three months have been a trial period of running Polished Bliss full time, as I have been on unpaid leave from my day job of environmental scientist. And a very pleasant, if rather hectic, three months it has been! Sales are continuing to grow, we've formally established the detailing arm of the business and we are now looking to move into a unit. It should come as no surprise then that I have decided to quit my day job, so from mid-October onwards I will no longer be a scientist! Just a plain old car care enthusiast doing what he can to serve the detailing community and earn an honest crust. And do you know what? There's nothing I'd rather be doing. A massive thank you to everyone who continues to support us, we wouldn't be here without you, so cheers muchly!
PS - the only spanner in the works is that I have to go back for two weeks to serve out my notice (don't ask!), so during the period 02/10/06 - 13/10/06 we will temporarily be reverting to working between the hours of 6pm - 10pm.

Thanks guys, much appreciated. John, I keep meaning to swing by yours with the replacement polish. I'll be passing every afternoon this week between 4-5pm, any chance you'll be free at some point?

Saw the title and my chin dropped. The first thought was NO not PB packing it in. Good to see it is your old job you are finishing. Best of luck mate I am just starting the long process of re-educating my dad in the way he cleans his car. Being a ex school teacher it is going to be hard. Good job I have a good sized bottle of whiskey and vodka.
