Default Go Faster Stripes Removal

My pub car had nasty thin stripes (coachlines) when I bought it, so I removed them using a hairdryer. Trouble is that the glue has been left behind and I cant shift it

Tried white spirit (it is a pub car remember) and T-Cut but nothing doing.

Anyone know what can be done?

Cheers.

I would use a decent tar and glue remover - spray on, watch the glue dissolve, then rinse off and finally wash the car properly. Autobrite do a good one that we use, and I'm led to believe that the readily available one by Autoglym is also good.
