arrived today, came with 3 sponge polishing heads, one hook and loop backing plate and a wool buffing cover.

had a quick play, found my old spoiler and fitted the polishing pad with the most cut (think it was white)

quickly put some "showroom glaze" on to the pad and set it away on min speed, did not seam to do much, spoiler was quite cool, turned it up to number 3 and had a quick play about, paint was warm afterwards, needs much more practise in use TBH

i painted a front wing today, so tomorrow i will go hell for leather with some cutting compound and see what happens, it seams like the panels do not heat up as fast as i have been led to belive.

it does not seam half as scarey as people make out!!

could have done with the thing yesterday when somebody brought a batterd old "pink" toyota in and argued the toss because the lad on the phone said it "would be waxed all inclusive"

DaveKG has posted some great rotary intro threads in the show it off section on Detailing World recently - well worth a read. Keep us posted on progress. Did you ever get a PC as well?
