Default Cleaning the bonnet lining

The bonnet lining on my WRX is discoloured and has nasty stains on it. Has anyone any tips on how to clean this? It seems too rigid to remove and put in the washing machine.

My thoughts are to use a detergent and the jet washer.

You're idea sounds about right, to be honest I hate them, and took mine out on my Leon - so much easier to keep the underside of the bonnet clean, and let's more noise out of the engine bay.

Washing didn't work.

However, bought some matt black spray paint, removed lining, sprayed & refitted.

100% improvement.
