Car Shamppo on Block Paving??!
Does Car Shampoo stain the block paving white?
...the lil bits that don't get washed away or drained?
I'm also abit worried that all that water sinks in between my paving and loosens it all up.
My car is dirty and needs a clean!!!
or is it better not to use my rather large driveway and go onto the road, which is a small cul-de-sac (though the neighbours will look at me real funny!!!)
Help please!!

the neighbours will look at you funny because they are all washing there cars on there drive's
we live in quite a damp climaite so i wouldnt worry about the water going under your block paving (if its going to get under there it will already be there)
what kind of shampoo are you using!!!!!
rinse off your drive afterwards with a normal hose
edited to say
dont point a pressure washer at your block paving tho unless you want to replace all the sillica sand

We were told categorically not to do it. Normal rain does not contain chemicals or quantites of mud for that matter. Also the concentration of water coming off the car when washed onto a relatively small area when the rest of the drive is dry is not a good combination apparently. I am only repeating what the driveway guy told me.

Been washing on a block paved drive for 5-6 years no bother. Shouldn't be a problem unless your drive was a cowboy job.
Sometimes get some black patches of brake dust on the bricks around the wheels but it hoses off.
Only product I have found a real no no for the drive is tyre dressing which doesn't wash off easily.
Definately nothing has whitened it
