Is there a way of forcing your mobile to see the mobile version? What's the URL?

Ah. bloody iPhone is too clever and insists on it being a full browser. If I could get the mobile version it would fly.

I just checked and it's the standard url.

It comes up like Scoobynet should be, no adverts, banners or photo's. Lightning quick on my mobile, dog slow on £2,500 laptop

Thanks mate, nice to see something appreciated around here.

Most mobiles can announce themselves as a normal PC or a Mobile so you can choose which format you recieve.

I have some configuration available to me and left iPhone as full browser as its so good at it.

Agreed the iPhone is good at it, but only if I have a 3G signal. How'd you go about switching it then Stu?

The displaying of the Mobile Site is controlled by the server, as it uses the 'Browser Sting' that is sent as part of the HTTP request to decide which to display, the mobile or the full version.

Should be like the BBC where you can type the word mobile in the address to force this version. iPhone can view anything so a choice would be nice.
