In case it helps, I've seen this a lot on sites that use VB date formatting functions. This uses the webserver's locale BUT if a user logs on at the console, it starts using THEIR locale - hence can be intermittent!

Probably not this, but it cost us HOURS figuring it out.....

When you edit a post, it seems the date switches from DD/MMMM/YYYY format to MMMM/DD/YYYY format.
