I the last few days I keep getting an error message (!Error on page - bottom left corner of the page) when I edit a post and the screen stays on the post edit page. But then when I go back to the post and try an update the edit has happened OK.

yep same here.
Even on the reply sometimes just hangs at the next page before returning to the thread
