Mods i would like to request a for sale section just for cars or vehicles in general.

Currently the for sale section is cluttered with data cables, camara's and all sorts of crap unrelated to Subaru's. Whilst this is all very well that members are selling stuff to each other it doesnt help you sell your Scoob or potential buyers to see what Scoobs are on offer!

Thus, i propose a new for sale section just for it, i know alot of ppl feel the same way and that buyers want it also.

For example my P1 ends up on page 5 every single day! Not only is that annoying but its just not helping anyone when a further breakdown of the section would help immensely.

Could even make it;

For Sale
-----------------------
Cars
Car Parts
Misc etc

yes a for sale for cars alone would be good.. would

a) avoid cars disappearing down the list very quickly
b) you know where cars are!

Simon/Shaun/Mods any chance of actually doing something about this?? its all well n good us all posting but you lot have the final say at the end of the day.

I am sure you are aware that it can be a real PITA Bttt'n all the time or leaving your PC for an hour and coming back to find your pride n joy on page 3...

At least tell us wether you are going to entertain this idea or not, then we can stop filling teh BBS with more useless posts.

Hi All

There are plans afoot to change the structure/design/proceedure of the For Sale forum, but I'm afraid that I'll have to ask you to bear with us for a while longer.

In the meantime, some suggestions that might assist in keeping things tidier.

Please don't post "on behalf of" type threads. The FS service is for the private sales of members only. If someone else has something FS, encourage them to use the board to do so by all means and hopefully they might be able to put something back into the community.

Please don't post "on eBay" type threads. If you have something to sell on eBay, by all means please sell it there or advertise it at the same time on SN but please don't reference eBay from a FS thread.

Also, please don't post "found this on eBay" type posts. Why advertise something that doesn't even elong to you.

If you have multiple items FS, please make only one post, not 4 or 5 or whatever. This clutters up the board unnecessarily.

Please don't start multiple threads selling one item, if after a day or so, it doesn't sell. Once again, leads to extra unnecessary posts.

I'm sure there are a couple of things more that might help everyone have a better FS experience but if we adhere to the above, then FS will be a bit more ordered until the changes come in shortly.
