Agreed. It's one of the things that annoys me about the profusion of BBSs -- they just don't have the functionality of Usenet.

A 'killfile' of people who's posts you don't want to see would be excellent

 

This was suggested a while back(an anti VIP List). I think it's a big job to code it, plus it would ruin the flow of a thread.

It would however make ignoring trouble makers a lot easier.

 

Maybe a start would be just to hide all threads originated by an Anti-VIP?

 

We have VIP... how about an IGNORE list as well... just misses out the posts from the 'ignored' person. Then we could have a top 10 list of VIP's, and a top 10 list of ignored fools
