Abuse from newage owners

Try and get a forged one as it's not nice if the engine goes.

The hatch is a good car.

Forged engine
Uprated front brakes
Geometry setup (from Powerstation or litchfield)

Makes it a cracking car

so when you buy it the "only" thing you need to do is fit a forged engine at 3k.

makes you wonder why it wasnt a sales success really

Good advise would be
Get him to read the thread at the top of the general page
Not just about 2.5 engine failures but the generalisation of how as a customer he will be treated by most dealers & IM.

Ps look around for the right car . That 1-50 example will save you a lot of tears & cash in the end !!!!

Regards

My criticism is mainly directed at the steering. Too light and overly assisted, lacks decent feedback IMHO.

I think Cosworth got the vehicle's ride and balance spot on.

How anyone driving a classic could abuse someone in a hatch is beyond me

Exclamation

There was an absolute beauty on PH and AT last weekend,
Looked after by (probably someone on here), 23k miles, forged engine, mapped by JGM, running 330BHP (I think), but good for 380,
looked a minter.
14k GBP - good price for a VERY capable car,
Shame it was black otherwise I would have snapped it up.

Gone now so I cant share the link.

Ian..
