It's bad enough when mere mortals are not only slagging each other off but having a pop at the proffessionals as well, but when you get on some forums and the pros are at each other as well, and in some cases encouraging the masses to join in to boot!
Well it's only the internet, it doesn't matter how we behave there does it? , What a sad state of affairs

So does anyone have any info? The site has been down for days now, surely not a technical problem?

Oooo thats tricky.

Until I see the chemistry to validate what they claim to do I'd never trust them to do all that the manufacturer claims.

That said, they can do no harm - my Jag has two in the tank; my dad put them in over ten years ago. I can't say its made any differnce - but the fuel it runs on has changed from 5 star leaded, to 98Ron 4 star leaded, to Lead replacement, then 97Ron super unleaded, then 98Ron non-ethanol Vpower/optimax and finally to 5% ethanol 99Ron Vpower/Tesco.

CO Emissions are staggeringly low for a 31yr old car...usually less than 0.5% CO at idle, which beats most de-cated scoobs! (factory spec should be between 1 to 2 %CO ), again HCs are next to nothing too Why that is though is a mystery..good tuning, good fuel or the magic pellets in the tank

So IMO the only disadvantage is the cost.

Just a quick update for everyone.

the website was taken down by our server providers, as they quarantined the files after running a virus checker and malicious code checker.

To cut a long story short! I have checked all the bbs files for a virus and there wasn't one. I have checked the content of the suspect file and it was not a malicious code. What it was will amuse some people and once the BBS is up I will tell you about it.

so as things stand I'm currently re-uploading the BBS files to the server, which will take all night. Please don't attempt to log on until I update this thread.

thanks
john
