Default Pole Position - Be Careful

I have used pole position for parts for a while now and dealt with Mat until he broke from them and set up on his own, he was very helpful, well priced and was very quick to deliver.
Any way and advert was posted for hawkeye parts to which i responded for a diffuser, the deal was done, the money was paid and apperently delivered and signed for at a very old paypal address back in july despite informing Pole Position of my current address to which by the way Mat had sent without issue every time.

Then claims im been fraudulent and trying it on.

An extract from a meesage from Pole Position

"Thanks for your email stating your intentions regarding this matter, we are very happy for you to peruse whatever legal route you choose. We have done everything correctly, legally and you personally have signed for this parcel at your registered PayPal address. You have failed in your attempt to fraudulently recover money using PayPal's refund system. We are not prepared to waste any more time with this issue which is nothing to do with us and is completely one hundred percent your own fault due to trying to have parcels delivered to unconfirmed addresses"

i certainly will not be trading with Pole Position

I urge others to follow suit

They've got a great reputation on here I can't recall anyone else saying a bad thing about them.

Not that I've ever used pole position but legally they have done the right thing and delivered the item to the address given by paypal, it's up to you to either update that address or select another address when placing an order.

You ordered the item and you supplied the wrong address on the paypal invoice, why should they be out of pocket?

You gave the wrong address(didnt change it) and the goods where sent to the address that was given to Pole Position from your Paypal, then unfortunately it is your fault!

I know its **** that your out of pocket, but you can't expect a business to be out of pocket from a mistake you made by not changing the address.

Someone had signed for the parcel, so have you thought about going round your previous address???

I'm *pretty sure* Matty BR was never a part of Pole Position other than using the premises, from which he has now moved on. The 2 are seperate companies.
Had top dealings with both.

Nothing against you Richard (or any other poster in support of PP) but I've had some PM's regarding issues with PP recently. NONE of them is from the OP.

I wouldn't normally openly state this, in the interest of fairness.

However, there does seem to be some issues following 'Mat's' split from the partnership.

I think people should be aware that PolePostionUK (limited) is a resurrected name, a company of that name having been dissolved in 2008 or somewhere close, and this one coming into being a year or so later.

This post is also a possible prompt for Matty to ensure that his good name isn't about to get dragged down.

None taken mate

But it seems pretty straightforward this one. I've got two addresses, sometimes things are shipped to the one registered despite the fact I have requested the other.

I recently bought some light weight pullies from them, they were advertised as lightweight pullies, and when I got them they were both lightweight and undersized. I wasn't after undersized items. When I pm'ed I was told that most pullies are the undersized type, and I pointed out that it wasn't advertised as such. They didn't admit any fault in not putting the full description in the advert. They offered a part refund, and I had to pay postage, which I wouldn't have minded paying the postage back (since they small items) if they admitted they made a mistake, and offered a full refund.
I took the part refund, but certainly won't be buying anything from them again.

Matt (who left them) on the otherhand, is amazing! He frequently provides a fast and brillient service. Always replies to PM's quickly, posts stuff out super fast, packages up stuff well too, has excellent prices, and gives lots of free advice. I've bought lots fro Matt, totally trust him and will continue to buy from him with confidence.
