Scoobyclinic retirements in euro saloons and Nippon
Was at oulton park at the weekend watching Vaughan fletcher and Ian frog get racing their scoobyclinic prepared cars and noticed they both retired with engine failures then looked on tsl and found that the other two scoobyclinic prepared cars driven by Wayne ward and Danny ( can't think of his name) also retired with problems from Nippon at brands. Just wondered if anyone knew what was happening with all four scoobyclinic cars seemingly failing on the same day? Looking at having some work done there but having second thoughts after seeing that
Maybe they found a fault on a part that was on all 4? I am sure they test parts on there race cars I guess that's why the run these type of cars to save this from their customers?
I use RCM but I wouldn't let that put me off

If you're looking to stretch the limits of performance then I think your concerns are warranted, but asking SC a couple of questions will help you make your decision.
However, if you are looking for routine work - servicing, acknowledged 'standard' upgrades etc. then there seems to be plenty of threads on here that will put your mind at ease.
I've never used them, this is just what I've picked up from threads.

How best to put this ?
FFS man they're race cars and failures are common in all forms of motorsport, but would that stop you letting Prodrive or M Sport or Maclaren F1 work on your car ?

Vaugns was pulled because they noticed oil after the first run (turned out to be a gaitor leaking) and lose of power was only running on 3 cylinders(coil pack gave up), its called racing and any one who knows anything about it understands this, they are one of the leading independent subaru specialists in the country for a reason, the fact that they participate in racing is a bonus and a luxury that there drivers benefit from.
Did you also notice that there drifting car won its 3rd race in a row even after its driver broke his hand during the competition but carried on ?

Considering the number of cars that go through the clinics hands, especially ones that they work on for independent racers you will get the occasional bad day. If you had Pirelli tyres fitted to your car would you go out and replace all four after this weekends tyre issues in F1????
