ecu with ppp on
Its a standard ecu with a prodrive map on jap performance I thought it would do me for now till I get all the bits for the car and then take it to tractive for ecutek ecu is 125 quid will the prodrive one not just fit on and work ok I have a panel filter and catback at the minute
No mate. A ppp car has a few differences to yours. If the ecu has never been mapped before then you'll also have a license fee to pay. If I were you I'd be on the look out for an ecu that's already been mapped

If you already have the cat back and panel filter then all you need is a new fuel pump which is fairly cheap. Get any compatable ecu that's already had a map or as said to open source.
Buying another ecu which has been mapped is not the way forward. Every car and every engine is different. Its definately not something I'd advise.
Cheap power, there's no such thing. But an open source map is about as cheap as you'll get. Not only will it increase your power (which is the least important bit) but it will also improve the way the car drives.
Whats your target ?
