Correct tyre pressure for 18s

Default Correct tyre pressure for 18s

As above, running 225/40/18 what is the correct psi?

I think on mine it was 33 front 31 rear ? But not 100% put around that in and you'll not be far off

If its a newage then 32psi all round.
Classic maybe less as they are a lighter car.

Ok cheers guys.
I have been running 34psi, so next time will 32-33.

Will running 31 or 33 be better protection for the alloys or does it make no difference? Have a lot of potholes here in London where I commute and sometimes cannot avoid them.

It doesn't matter what size tyres you run the pressures are always the same

32psi front 28psi rear but up to 32psi if carrying passengers and luggage.

Correct, size does not affect pressure!

Start at the std pressures then adjust to suit your driving style/tyres I run 33 all round on mine (bugeye on Toyo T1r's higher pressure due to soft sidewalls) 28 on track.
