I'll keep an eye out for you in & around the Manchester area.
Did they take it with the key as a result of a burglary?

Supposedly there is no real damage (which is nice) and they never got the car started so doubt there is any damage to the transmission/engine but will have to get it to the garage and get it checked out.

Yup not good fun
just been on the phone to the police and pretty much all sorted out now, just ordering the land mines, barbed wire and a couple of machine gun towers
but if anyone does get offered a white blob bumper or white STI blob fog covers they are probably off my car.

Thieving scumbags. You cant have anything nice these days without worrying about it getting nicked or vandalised. We need hard labour prisons for these vermin.
Glad you got your Type R back and hope you get your bumper back.

Sorry to hear this Tony
Just wondering, do you think they took the Spec C bumper off to try and tow it as they didn't have the towing eye? Then gave up and tried the Type R but left the bumper on the back of their pick up truck?

Dunno Ricky, the type r was in front of the spec c, probably after the bumper for spares, maybe the same for the type r, they didn't attempt to break into the c but couldn't start the r.
I'm confused now, which car did they take?
how did they take it and where did you find it?
and they nicked the spec c bumper as well... did they put that in the typeR or do you think they had a van with them too?
CCTV now on order???

Salsa, they took they type R and the front bumper (carefully removed) off the Spec C, they didnt get far with the type r though which was nice
Thieving baśtards
We had a Mitsubishi Pajero with 4 lads lurking about our street the other night, I spotted it twice doing a lap of the street where I have a few cars and so does my neighbour, I casually grabbed my cricket bat and placed it behind the wall, went and asked why they were driving up and down the street at just over 12 am in the morn ( for the second time ) apparently they were lost
even though there is only one entrance to my street with roundabouts at the top and bottom, I kindly let them know that if anything in my property went missing or anybody else's in the street then we would know where to start looking and sent them packing, my neighbour has put a camera in his window now as you have to pass his house to get in and out of the street, I fúcking detest scum like that and have no problem making sure they don't come back

feel for you tony
mine was done in similar circumstance 3 years ago, was taken from the garage on a low loader (too loud to start i guess), very little damage, and then stashed in the back of a vacant hotel to return for later
feels horrible, and thern the car never feels the same after, hope it all works out for you
