I've fitted a new exedy twin plate to my 2003 sti. But the clutch won't disengage and I can't select any gears?
Need any info or help.

Sounds like one of the plates is grabbing. Did the box slide in easy?

Have you tried to bleed the clutch or adjust the pedal?

It does feel like one of the plates is grabbing mate. When I try and select a gear the car wants to move forward. Not fully disengaging. Had the box out twice and can't find the problem. Stuck???

I've bleed it and adjusted the pedal further up. Still can't select a gear when engine is running. Won't fully disengage.

Also release bearing has a lot of play in it when fitted to cover plate.

Is there any adjustment left on the pedal?

I had the same issue as you but managed to sort it by adjusting the pedal vut it was near enough on the limit.
Was it a new clutch kit?

It feels soft. Exactly like the clutch I removed which was a exedy organic clutch like a standard one. Thought it would be a lot harder being a twin plate.
