Default 2005 uk sti std re-circ dv

Anybody have any idea if these restrict possible power gains? Wanting to source an own recirc but not sure if it'll limit me? Also any body know how you go about deleting the dv? What you achieve by doing this and how it's done?

Depends on your power target, They work fine with the stock airbox at 400bhp.
The problem with doing a delete all depends on which turbo you have or are going to have as if it can't dump/recirc the air it's going to get pushed back over the turbo blades which gives a great noise(turbo chatter)but can shorten the life of the turbo.

If you are running FMIC then is so much easier to run DVless, you will need buy bung(they're cost around £10) and block the pipes which going to the yours recirc valve
