Default Mallory Park under threat

Not strictly Scooby related, but I think this is important.

Please sign the following E-petition to help keep this historic circuit open. It's currently under threat from stupid people who have moved next to it in recent years and suddenly realised it makes a noise!

https://submissions.epetitions.direc...etitions/46739

Thanks folks.

Done. I live at the other end of the country, have never and probably will never be at Malory but I really hate these kind if people!! It's like the to**ers that buy a flat above a pub in the town centre then moan about noise!

Does that mean I can build a house on the end of Stansted airport runway, then have Stansted shut down cos of the noise?

Instant profit, what a wonderful idea....

Similar issue round here many years back. Chap had a go cart circuit next to RAF Wyton (flying base at the time) had to move when Wyton closed and local residents started complaining about his lawnmower engined training carts

Boing!

Apparently there are only around 23,000 signatures on this so far, and it really needs a lot more.

Please pass this around any other motoring-related forums you frequent.

Thanks folks.

Done...

24,308 signatures so far.

It's a nice circuit, I have been there a couple of times.

I do find it strange to get to though, you need to drive through a small village and it seems to be on the opposite side of the village.

This is why I knocked motocross on the head because tracks were getting shut down or restrictions on use only so many days a year. Because of noise

I live near the Anglesey circuit, they give season passes to local residents and they don't seem to have problems, and they're constantly upgrading the track and facilities so they must be confident of operating in the long term future.
