Well I have been down to scooby clinic today for some warranty work doing on a 2001 bug wrx. Only a few minor issues to sort like rocker cover gasket and exhaust leak. So they took it into the workshop and I went into the waiting room for a coffee. Was sat down for half hour or so then I was asked if they could have a quick word with me. I went out into the workshop and it turns out that the crank is in the early stages of failing. GUTTED!

Anyway thankfully it is covered by the warranty and I must say that Kev has been fantastic about the situation! It took the guys about an hour to get the engine out and start work on it straight away. Should be back up and running within 2 weeks at worst!

 

Warranty work on a 12 year old car.........

 

Yep. 3 month no quibble warranty on any car you buy from them.

Yea they do but also sell vehicles also. They have a nice white classic for sale at the moment it was on eBay. Don't know if its still on there though.

Even as an international owner there the guys I go to for advice or even a chat fantastic service that has even talked me out of buying stuff, deffo a honest bunch of guys

 

they do EVERYTHING matey, second hand cars (I picked up my hawkeye wrx from them two weeks ago ), track car builds and running, bodywork, paint, engine building, servicing, mapping, parts (new and used), and if they dont have stock they can find it. Did i miss anything?

 

Got my car back this morning and I must say the scooby clinic have done a fantastic job! Just a case of bedding it in for a 1000 miles then back for an oil change. Then it's remap time!

 

Its one thing having a problem and how it gets fixed is another......seems like the Scoobyclinic guys are up there with the best of them.
What a service to start on it there and then. Hope your without your car for as little time as possible.
