Hi I have recently put a z4 Ecu on my 94 wrx not long after I noticed the boost solinoid was ticking quite loud now after a bit of a drive I'm only getting 0.5 boost I'm just wondering do you need a boost solinoid off of a sti to match the z4 Ecu? Or is it just a coincidence that the original wrx solinoid is failing? Well I hope that's what it is!!

So is the standard wrx solinoid ok with z4 Ecu?

 

Should be a 3 port solenoid. (3 pipes)
