If it is a proper PPP it will be 305 bhp not 261 and should have a certificate from prodrive.
Main item is front subframe rust, there is a thread on hear on this.
Make sure you get it up in the air and remove the engine under tray and have a good look!
Also cam belt if it has not been changed recently best to replace for peace of mind and your wallett.

Bit over priced as said do I know of a cheaper one "no" but I've never looked for that model I'd expect to pay around 4k for that.
A trader friend of mine just paid 3.5k for a 04 plate with 30k on the clock mint so there out there.
If your set on that one go check it out if your happy to pay over odds it may well be worth it

Regards

Dave

I wouldn't say it was well over priced, its at dealers. As with anything, you could get one cheaper with a private sale.

Looks ok to me and the price is about right considering it's a dealer, as above, sub frame and cambelt, tyres, fluids and brake's all need checking as that's what costs.

nice car and miles and the best colour, if that lot checks out i'd go for it, if not all up to scratch use it a a bargaining chip to get a few more quid knocked off.

It's the Prodrive version of the STi and it was just a cosmetic thing but not with PPP
The tailpipe indicates it's not got the PPP
Pretty rare if bog standard!

I had the same as this about 8 years ago. I quite a rare car as they only made 200 I'm that colour with the Peodrive style pack. Car has only got standard power but to be honest would rather have that and remap it. Looks really nice. Well I would say that as I had the exact same model. Go down and offer 4k and see were you can meet half way. Good luck.
