What sort of power are you running?
Tubular headers only come into their own above 400 or so, much below that, they can spoil the spool and reduce power output.
At that level, better to stick to ported OE headers.

Hi there

As above Jeff said,Tubular headers are recommended above 400bhp,bellow 400bhp ported headers should do trick,if you are will be running above 400bhp have look on eBay and search for WMS headers or Kakumei 3bolt headers

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/WMS-RS3-Im...item4167c111e3

Exhaust cams pulleys, what cams you will be running,if you will be running just standard cams(OE) you will don't need the exhaust cam pulleys, but f you are thinking to run wild/wilder cams speak to the Chris@CDF,Kev@ScoobyClinic,Mark@Lateral performance or RCM

cheers jura,cheers peter.runnin 411bhp/349lbs.
lookin to get the torque up and miby a we bit more power.
limited at the moment due to standard internals.
was advised by my garage of headers and also told the exhaust pulleys would be good as small adjustments can gain power/torque?
thanks again for reply.

Yes headers I would add too, what turbo you are currently running, you are still running OE ECU?

Exhaust cam pulley,if you are running AVCS they're expensive(from £450 just for cam pulleys)

Hi there

Not sure if those pulleys would help you gaining like bhp/torque.

You are still running Top Mount Intercooler(TMIC)?

Or you are running FMIC?

On 2.0L you can gain torque with smaller exhaust, assume you are running 3" exhaust, but still all depends on the turbo what you are running and on the supporting mods

If you are want more torque,2.1L or 2.5L,2.35L is only option or try to run methanol(10 or 20%) and you will see gains like on the side of bhp or torque

As per comparison we are run MDX321T on 2.1L and we are made 490bhp/480lb-ft on 20% methanol and 452bhp/440lb-ft,friend running same turbo on 2.0L and he made 452bhp/440lb-ft and 480bhp/450lb-ft on 18% methanol

car runs a 3in decatted all the way including bell mouth,650 injectors,fpr,walbro255,k+n,hybrid gt30,lightly ported headers.
just not to impresed by 349lbs of torque.
car has done a best but not consistant 12.5.
but resolved a high rev miss so hopin for more consistancy now.

Hi there

Personally I would have look for 3-bolt headers as per above from WMS,speak herewith Alyn@AS Performance about the Harvey Up pipe, you will gain like spool and hopefully torque

As I said depends on turbo, torque more depends more on engine size and on turbo itself(same turbo will make more on 2.0L,but will have less torque than on 2.1L or 2.5L,but usually on bigger cc making more like torque and hp)

12.5 is nice and really great time,we are done 11.8 in our wagon, still we are think is possible to do on old setup 11.5

York Raceway is on our list too,but in our problem will be is too far for us and we are not sure

Another vote for the Harvey up-pipe now available from Alyn at AS Performance.

Better spool, more torque, small-ish outlay.

Same here made a noticeable difference on a standard setup of the rb320, better response, pulled harder and no loss of top end so good all rounder
