I've got a classic 4 door shell, been painted though and been through the wars a bit.
I guess you could strip the paint off the inside (it's a bit fooked!).
I haven't used it in probably 10 years or more - just found it. The driver window is cut out, and a hole in the driver door for the exhaust as it was a nitro.
It's not actually broken anywhere though.

I keep hearing there is a forrester shell available, but still not found it....
Where did you get it from ? Or was part of the kit you bought ?

I got it from Models of Distinction in Farnham in Surrey :

But as I say, that was many years ago - worth a shot though.
It was a seperate purchase, not part of a kit.

I used to be into the 1/10th nitro and 1/8th nitro rally cross. I still have the cars in the loft. When I think about the money I used to sink into them. When I was looking for shells, particulally touring car have a look at HPI, in the day they had a huge range.

I know the licenses are expensive for the model company's to reproduce shells, which is a major factor in not being able to buy " old school " shells anymore, as I think there licensing only allows them produce a specific model for a short period so I guess it's just pure luck if you find what you want.
Anyone got or used the new ken block 1/8 gymkhana brushless fiesta.......man that is an awesome kit for an electric car

for 1/10 scale you will need 190mm bodyshell to race legally if your going that far.

I wouldn't have minded racing them officially within the BRCA requirements, but I live in a city where there are no race clubs or tracks and the closest one is in Rotherham which is ok for race events, but not for weekly events, bit too far and my pockets are not that deep lol
I race a Durango DEX410 every week at a local club in Ludlow. I started there in 1987, but gave up as most people do for a few years. We all run 4wd buggys, touring cars aren't as popular as they used to be.
