Default Gb270 image change.

I decided to keep the car as I couldn't get the money I felt it was worth from selling. So I chose to alter the appearance. It may be a wrx with a prodrive pack but that's just something I'm going to have to learn to live with as I couldn't afford to change the gearbox to a 6 speed. As I couldnt get the money i wanted for it it meant I couldn't get an sti with similar miles. So here it is before and after images. This won't be to everyone's taste!

Different mate. Very brave to alter a limited edition car. I'm not really sure about the side skirts, but the rest of the car I really do like.

I like that, apart from the spoiler... I'd have kept the Prodrive one

Looks superb now, those wheels really suit it. Great front splitter and stance.

Wiley, cheers. Sorry that is the original, ive just painted it black. I think the spoiler is deffinetly a marmite thing, i hated it. I just thought it looked rediculous from the side view. I didnt mind altering the limited edition as i think subaru have more limited editions than they have standard lol, no offence meant.

Im just looking for some carbon mirrors and im going to put some black mudflaps on with gold prodrive decal and remove the silver prodrive decal from the spoiler. I wanted the side skirt extensions to have the ride height look the same right round the car after fitting the front splitter, they arent to everyones taste.

Thanks for the comments guys. Its not bad for about a months worth of work.

Maybe brave to do that to a GB270, but its your car. I think it looks a lot better now

Black under-skirts work really well with the front splitter, loving the wheels too

Cheers for the comments. Regarding the sideskirt extensions, they use the same clips that are there for your sideskirts. A 5 minute job, yeah i have to agree the join is a little off putting but i didnt want them in fibre glass and then have to paint them so went for those ones. Ht autos were a pleasure to deal with.
