AUTUMN MODS NEARING COMPLETION
i just thought id share with you a few things we been up to over this last few weeks as the car wont be ready for this year and the season fast ending iv decided to carry on and change a few bits i wasnt happy with or wanted to add to the car
iv decided to go abit more track focused as it will be used on the road but i would like to competive in a few events next year so this is what iv been up to
first of cosmetics are as important as the performance for us so a bit of tarting up
headlights looked a bit out of place in gloss black against the carbon bonnet and silver so we colour codded thoses which i much preffer
also to finish off the air duct some genuin carbon funnels aswell was specially ordered in the correct size for these
next off the wedsports wheels that was fitted last month i wasnt happy with the colour despite being told they suited if but off they went for the matt black treatment i much preffer this colour personally as good as new again
next off the brakes i had ap's on prevous to this but after getting a braker with a set of porsche 6pot turbo brakes with ap 356mm disks i was very impressed on the stopping power and the wow factor of the size of the things so the ap's was removed and the porker brakes fitted in there place
on the brake matter i came accross a compbrake hydrolic handbrake that would fit nicely with my set up so we got that mounted up in a perfect location if ever needed to tidy all this up and to mount some much needed switch gear for various functions a wrc carbon fiber center consol was ordered and fitted
while on the inside i got around to fitting the rash dash 2 display unit and thank you to andrew carr we got the toucan display unit wired in for the extra sensors package aswell as the dash board all wired in to the ecu out puts where needed i also fitted a non dished omp suede steering wheel to allow me to fit a quick release steering wheel boss to allow getting in and out that bit easier and working inside the cabin that bit easier
the last gauge was needed was a large stack st200 taco meter to keep a eye on the revs at all time this has peak rev hold and adjustable rev limit warning light also which will all help the mount needs a matt black paint tho so please take no note of that
thats it for this month well apart from a carbon roof to fit but i dont think il be fitting that just yet but we see hope you enjoy

yes frayz it was originally for lhd which is abummer but they didnt do a rhd in this style so i can live with the slight angle but it also has a benfit with the clearence of my wide seats so i can adjust the drivers seat fully where i wouldnt able to on the rhd version so not all bad
cheers dan

Cheers mags
Yeah Ryan all that stuff gotta one yet its a million miles away from the road yet full geo and brake set up is a main priority when the engine is finished then its a few easy bits to do
Frays screamer pipes aren't a issues as fair as I can see the bumper is heat wrapped at the rear and when the engine is out for the built exhaust/manifolds and screams are all being ceramic Coated also so heat shouldn't be a problem mate

Hopefully frayz it will I think the fact the car looks complete is giving people the impression that its all complete and ready but in the real world it's miles off
Shreka yes you can see it in the flesh it's at work all the time mate we look forward to you coming down and yes hopefully there up to the job of stopping I might try get some matching rear porker 4 pots for the rear asleep so watch this space
