A bit off topic, but who owns/runs this now? I was surprised to hear that the original proprietor and his wife had cleared off to America. When I last spoke to him it was a pipe dream and a few months later he had gone (without stamping my service book or giving me an invoice, which is a bummer).

It does say Impreza style (theyd have to be at this price), but I would trust Ian Godney not to supply me with compromised brakes.

lol it says so in the write up for them they are copy calipers

http://66.7.200.85/~godspeed/product.php?id_product=138

You write that as though you have found me out and I have concealed it from our customers

Do you honestly think you would be able to buy brand new calipers from Subaru , along with discs and pads for £299 ? you'll pay more than that for one caliper from Subaru !

We have been selling these calipers for a while now , have had no complaints , and no problems with them , for a COPY caliper , they are very good

I'm not saying that your wrong by doing that it's just you get what you pay for I believe that they would be good for a few years but after that I'm not so sure

The original calipers are sh*te! Theyre as durable as a piece of plasticene, which is true of most Brembo calipers.

So exactly like the standard Subaru calipers then as the pistons in those start to rust up after 5 or so years , which is why I make stainless steel pistons for them , the pistons I make are cheaper that the standard pistons from Subaru , these are the ones you are trying to buy from The Trooper on here , so obviously you can't think that badly of them !

I would say that that the original calipers are way better maybe the fact that you put
Better pistons in them Is better but the calipers he was saying say Subaru on them instead of wrx pro which are copies and I be leave that putting the stainless pistons in the original calipers would be better than putting
Them in copy calipers is does not really matter they will see

Well your wrong , the original calipers are no better , I have tested both so I'm qualified enough to say that , have you tested them both to back up your comments ?

If the calipers were no good , or didn't work as well as the standard calipers , I wouldn't sell them

You know the guy you quoted has 6 pot Porsche calipers don't you?

You may be a qualified mechanic but..

A) you obviously can't read
B) you're picking a fight with the most respected braking specialist on Scoobynet
C) you're a newbie with little posts regardless of opinion bad mouthing said specialist. Why should we take what you say as gospel?
