We could make new pistons if you wanted them , but the standard pistons are anodised aluminium so if these are all ok I would stay with them , if you change the pistons to stainless it would make your calipers heavier.
Cheers Ian
That sounds good. I have a a full set in a box that need doing, and possibly the fronts off my car too.

You talked about the tests that you carried out on the pattern calipeers that youve used in the £300 kit earlier:

Have you seen the copy Brembo Big Reds (identical to Big Blacks, but inverted with the crossover pipe and nipples swapped over) that are sold by a number of vendors?

Theyre Chinese in origin and sold in Europe branded/dristributed by Dansk and theyre sold here by Design 911, for £400 for the pair delivered.

Im tempted by these but I doubt that anyone has tested them in the way that youve described, so any opinions or experience that you have would be appreciated.

I don't know of any other companies making copy rear 2 pot calipers , but you can pick them up fairly cheaply second hand , as the rear calipers are alloy they don't seem to be as bad for seizing as the front steel calipers
