Default Asda Charity Track

This Saturday Aug 11th at Bruntingthorpe Aerodrome near Lutterworth Leicester.
This is a full-on family day,just £5 per car to get in,yes £5 per car,once in there are high speed passenger laps to be had in lots of exotic cars,hog-roast,Air-Show,rally course,off-road course,fashion show, fun-fair,events arena,hovercraft rides,drive a 44 ton artic and much more.
All monies go to kids charities,last year £42,000 was raised,bring the family enjoy the day.
This event is INVITATION only,if you want a pass send your e-mail address to
rosebuckler1@gmail.com and you can print a pass out for you and any friends,remember you must have a pass to get in.
There are cheap deals at the Barcelo hotel on the A5 near Hinckley if you want to stay over.

The deal is for a twin bedded room and breakfast for £55 , that’s for two people ,but you must quote O.Y.M.55,
Below is the new list of things your guests and invited guests can do on the day,

Drive a 44ton attic with instruction around the special 5 mile test track. £5
Drive a J.C.B. fast track with instruction around the special 5 mile test track. £5
Drive a brand new luxury Scania coach with instruction around the special 5 mile test track, £5
Drive a twin engine Honda go kart on a go kart track . £5
Drive a fire engine with instruction around the special 5 mile test track. £5
Drive a tank or a mobile field gun, £5 new this year
Ride a segway with instruction around its own track £5 new this year
Ride as passenger in any one of 450 high performance super cars around the test track. £5
Ride as passenger in any one of 70 high performance rally cars on a rally stage . £5
Ride as passenger in any one of 30 - 4x4 land rovers on an extreme 4x4 Corse. £5 ( the most event popular by far)
Ride as passenger on a F1 hovercraft ( very fast I.e. 0-60mph 3 seconds ). £5
Fly as passenger in a twin engine bell jet ranger helicopter. £30
Fly as pilot in a Robinson R22 helicopter and have a helicopter flying lesson. £100 ( should be £400 )
Watch as the two best stunt drivers in the world ( Russ & Paul Swift ) perform in the main arena ,
Watch as one of the worlds best motorcycle stunt riders Dave Coates performs in the main arena .
Watch as the Leicestershire police fire arms and dog unit show us what the dogs can really do.
Watch as the No Limits RCUK team perform stunts over cars with their radio control 1/5 scale petrol Baja cars. new this year

Watch as some of the best pilots in the world today perform in the main air show at 12,30 - 14,00 in the shutdown for lunch,

Watch as J.C.B. launch its J.C.B.-- G.T 9.5 ton -1000phb - 100mph backhoe dragster in the shutdown for lunch, new this year

Shop till you drop ( last year Asda George gave us 119 rails of clothes and the most expensive thing was £3 )
We are in the process of booking the air show ,we will let you know as and when we have booked the whole show, and yes we are trying to get the duxford duo again??? ,

I take it you checked with Chris/Rosy before posting this open invite given its a WR1OC run event?

Well done guys, as the thread says its a great family day out,the weather looks promising so bring the family/friends and enjoy the day,just make sure you have a pass.

Its a great day out went to this 2 years ago on my mates stand, ended up putting my scoob on the track for passenger rides took out the Haribo hot pant girls in mine!!

Only bad point is the main straight they use, really loose surface ended up having to have the front end re-sprayed due to stone chips only did 3 laps

A truelly great day out for any enthusisast saddly i'm working so can't make it. You'll miss my lunitc antics this year

Hmmm, almost tempted to put mine on the track, but I dont want any funny stains left on my prodrive sparco seats

A retired Policeman with a Triple Bypass so went slower, NOT, I did get two wheels up though




This guy Paid for 3 laps, he got more than he bargain for


I don't think he knew how much of a nutter I was I bet he wished he'd only paid for one lap
