Apparantly this is the first UK customer bought BRZ in the UK. The new owner promised to take it to Litchfields for them to have a butchers, prior to their own vehicle being delivered in a couple of weeks.
I was luckily at Licthfields having some work done to my JDM Hawkeye STI, so it was rude not to take the opportunity to hog a few shots.
Never seen one before (in the flesh) but must admit I quite like it!
Iain told me about the types of upgrade packs they will be developing, as soon as they get their hands on their own vehicle. Not sure what I can say about the exact details, but 300bhp and a whole host of handling upgrades will be on the cards.

That does look very nice, shame the BRZ badge on the back looks like BAZ!
Hi, I drive a Subaru BAZ??
Mind you, some of us have STi's which to the uneducated could mean we haven't been bagging up before dipping our wick.
Subaru, you will come up with these abbreviations.

Thats very nice, think theres a lot of hating for the sake of it on here for the BRZ.
The chassis has been widely praised and with the Japanese tuning market so hot with playing with new models, there is going to be a few of these things putting out 300+ bhp soon enough and with the light curb weight and no transmission losses it will show the heels to many an impreza.
Personally i cant wait for a factory or big tuner hot version.

I think from the outside it looks nice, although the rear-end has yet to grow on me..
...but what is going on with those seats!? They look horrible! They look like they are made from the kind of cheap scratchy material that will make you itch on a hot day!

I'm a classic owner and don't understand the hate for this. Lightweight chassis is a good start, once a good engine is transplanted into one then it will be a different monster.
As for interior, its a Subaru, they are all ****.

And with it being rear wheel drive im sure the wanabe drifters are going to love it.
. . . . B A Z . ....... . . . . .. brilliant !!
.
saw a brz a month back in warwickshire , pre DVLA test , it was also blue but not that interior , so maybe they had a change of mind since the press release and private import last month.
Is the future RWD and the ' drift ' no mate, that was finished in 1984 when i sold my rwd Rootes group Avenger Tiger 1850cc non turbo but 4x dcoe webbers on 185/70/13s and when petrol was 'about a quid a gallon' , and the main competion came from 2L ford capri's and the occasional vauxhall vx4/90 on heat. pre hatchback days.
Long live the Subaru AWD LEGACZ , , , , , and raise your hat to BAZ !!

Classic owner here and I rather like it styling wise, it's grown on me greatly since I first saw it. It's not perfect but a massive massive advance on the sh1tbox hatch that you'd have to have a tastectomy to buy for the styling.
It may be a bit underpowered but hopefully Ian will address that. Maybe an STI version will too
A much better direction for Subaru.

I like it, and with a few choice exterior mods could look really improve it, (the whhels must be the 1st to go).
But a 300bhp version with appropriate suspension/brake upgrades would make it a bit of a monster.
Look forward to that :-)

GT1's would look sweet on that imho.
Non Turbo mate. Im sure a Turbo model will come within a couple of years though. Price maybe the issue what with the exchange rate.

) and i quite like the look of it actually apart from the wheels and lack of turbo
