Does anyone have the 2004 cmax 2.0 TDCI? I've just bought one and think the garage is trying to pull fast one on the engine cover as the original was broken. The 2nd cover they've fitted doesn't sit on all the mounting points and also broke in one place, possibly because wrong type and the dip stick doesn't sit right in the oil stem, it even kinks the wrong way and the oil logo is upside down...anyone got pics? If anyone got that model, could they take some pics of the engine cover and dip stick and the engine bay with those on so I can compare...sorry if not clear.

tried all of that, no pictures, different covers listed on ebay but no actual pictures of that model so cant compare. Think I've been given a 1.8 engine cover and dip stick.
Even fold parts listings no pics.

 

Post a pic of yours mate, I was until recently a senior ford tech, tbh most of the c max engine covers were deleted from factory as a money saving exercise. The 1.8 one is half the size!! Post yours up and I'll tell you of its right
