Sorry if its a stupid question but seen a nice one locally and its an import running a claimed 500hp.What would the car be like to live with in this tune and any must check things if i was going to make an offer as i believe the car is going up for sale soon.
Was after a newer 2.5 hawkeye but keep hearing horror stories on them.

500 horses requires some serious mods incl the turbo etc. Don't be fooled if he says it's only had a remap

A claimed 500 is different to a proven 500.

Check eBay out, there are loads of 'claimed 500bhp' cars on there...

 

unless he has a recent printout and recipts dont touch it..

 

Who built it,with what parts,how long ago,receipts,etc etc ..... Ask a specialist to take a look at it first,got to be worth £100 getting it looked over properly before waisting thousands.
