Default Where to buy Anti-lag switches

I see a fair few people showing off their swicthes and what not but I cant seem to find anywhere that sell the ones im looking for. I want the red flip style ones that have the switch underneath to be placed in the blanked off gaps on my newage, the kind of style you get on a aeroplane.

Any help welcomed, thanks!

Stupid question but how or what is anti-lag, don't get me wrong I understand the principal of turbo lag but what are you switching on or off to counteract it?

The anti lag trick is to introduce a rapid backfire in the exhaust outlet.
As the turbine attached to the compressor (turbo) is exhaust gas driven, the resulting highly increased gas flow makes the turbine spin faster.
In extremis, this can generate boost just sat at idle.
It's achieved by grossly retarding the ignition. The rpm at idle would be greatly reduced by doing that, so the throttle is jacked open at the same time, usually by external means if it's going to be effective.
It's a laugh a minute, flames out the exhaust, loads of noise and guaranteed action as soon as you touch the load pedal.
The snag is it eats turbos, probably one a week, unless you spend £3k on maram shafted items, and even then, they don't last long.
The anti lag you get with the after market ECU's is a much milder version, good for car park shenanigans, and showing off to the totty.
Yes, I've been known to succumb myself, to my eternal shame..

No you don't need aftermarket ECU,you can go by route of poor ALS(pops and bangs)or you can go route of Group N ROM,which can allow you run Speed density,ALS(on switch too),LC(on switch too) and other features on your standard ECU

So how much cheaper is it to go down the ROM root and where can I source the parts...what parts would I need?

Hi there Group N ROM(with GrpN ROm you will loose Knock control and knock correction) you can download from RomRaider forum, but i would recommend speak with Open Source mappers which can do this for you.

At moment is out CarBerry, which is based on GrpN ROM,which have all those features above mentioned plus full knock control/correction

http://www.romraider.com/forum/viewt...hp?f=36&t=7594

As i said speak here with Duncan@Race Dynamix,Neil@Slowboy Racing,Rich@FB tuning and others
