Default Missed a sale ;(

Well I have been looking for something else to play with and this popped up, the earlest from seeing it online last night to viewing was this morning, but by the time I got there its sold and on its way to Sweden tomorrow

http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/3601852.htm

On the outside it appeared to be ok with some minor paint chips here and there, but for the money it seemed a good buy for someone. Obviously I never got as far as hearing or driving once informed it was sold

Oh ok, well I have used them before. I bought a Cypriot WRX from them back in 2007 and it was mint, the car was straight and sweet with no issues.

I even spoke to the previous owner of the car to ensure I didnt get a lemon.

When I came to sell the car I sold to a work collegue whom ran it for two years and only sold it as he was skint!

I will search them on here, although if you take a Subaru Mechanic with you when buying a car in theory you should be ok imho

It looked in very good condition from the outside bar some stone chips here and there.

Ive never had a twin scroll

Anyway it gone so no point questioning if it was worth it or not, as I would have certainly bartered the 6k ask

They cant all be Lemon's, plus if you take someone who knows every minor details then you should be safe buying from just about anyone!

How many people go to a garage blind folded?

Unless your a novice, a numpty, or buying from a good friend, or trusted member then you should always give the car 110% inspection and check absolutly everything. I do this when Im buying from anyone no matter what.

So if KTC have a past that would not detract me from "looking" especially as they are only 10 miles away from me. Ok some folk on here have been stung by the looks of it, but by what I have read its hard to believe that they bought the cars in the first place.

Viewing car: turn up with everything required to have a good roll around the car, so that means dont turn up in your best Jeans, Jacket and new Adidas!

Seems to be a lot of Subarus going abroad. There was a nice looking white Spec C on PH a few weeks ago that I was interested in, but it sold within a week to some guy who came over from Germany to buy it.

I tried, I sent you a PM

The very week before you listed it I paid over 4k off my wedding fund which left me short of your ask price I really did want that car buddy, and was gutted to see it sell! I later read the post of the buyer who was going to push it to 500bhp on the standard engine (good luck with that then) which I think is seriously on borrowed time....

Anyway thanks for posting it up for sale, which gave me the opportunity to buy, but timing was very bad

Yes I wanted that one too, would have had the money at the end of the month, 2nd time ive missed out on it, it went for a bargain price the first time around with 8k on the clock, was down to 14k and he was open to offers at the time.
Just ashame that its probably going to be stripped or broken really, the TUV is a real nightmare to get a Spec C RA through, never known one get past it yet
