why would you want either? i would want a decent make of tyres , especially with 300bhp. spend a little bit more and get some decent rubber, not worth skrimping on

Good advice, after all it's the only thing (hopefully) that's touching the road

I have Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 2 not the cheapest but get good reviews :- http://www.tyrereviews.co.uk/Tyre/Go...ymmetric-2.htm

as tony says sessantas are an excellent tyre.

i found them great in both wet and dry, if you get these for £100 a corner i would take them.

i think the answer is dont put cheap nasty ditch finder tyres on an impreza i.e nankang, arrow, kwik fit own brand.

use a good make, people will have different opinions on which are best but all will be better than cheap nasty budget tyres.

I've got Falken Fk542's on the blob wrx and the Litchfield and have no problems with them in the wet, dry or on snow. The Litchfield is running 400bhp and and i've never had an issue with grip or the car throwing it's self into a ditch....

ive got falken ze912s reasonable price, no problems touch wood, obviously not as good as tyres £100 plus a corner, but i dont push the limits, take a look on tyrereviews.co.uk if you want to compare.

whats your budget?

arowspeed are kwiksh!ts own brand of budget , they are rubbish (ditchfinders) , as above we have fitted falken to big power cars without any problems and the feedback has always been good .

You pay for what you get with tyres.... plain and simple.

Most the brands being mentioned on this thread are budget, plain and simple.

Why on earth people skimp on tyres for a performance car is utterly beyond me. It's probably THE most important part of your car.

A 400bhp Litchfield car with crap Falken's on it.... mental!

Nowt wrong with Falken 452s.

When Bob Rawle mapped my classic a few years back he had them on his 400bhp (or was it 500 - can't remember) daily driver, and rated them very highly.

So I bought some after that for mine and I thought they were great

Sessanta's, you would be foolish not to buy them over falken or Toyo tbh.
