Crap, i bought something similar a few years back to go on a vauxhall, just out of pure curiosity.
It was basically a resistor, you wired it in and it basically changed an input signal to the ECU depending on how you wired it, (also known as piggy back)
Total bull**** imo

I had one on mine, gave it 30bhp more. and a bit more torque.
The way it does it is by lying to the ecu,
A re map is more reliable.
Mine has now been re mapped and the chip taken of.
Good look.

Interesting that they get away with naming it +30BHP and claiming it will give up to 30BHP increase, but in all their rolling road results the biggest increase is 15BHP. Presumably you only get the full 30BHP if you fit it to a Veyron.

danger - yep in a big big way mate, these things worth pennies from Maplins are not going to put the main mappers out off business put it that way, may even given them work with the mapping you will require after your engine rebuild !!

sorry mate asked the same thing myself a while ago, was not fooled by the adverts but must admitt was intrigued more than anything regards them- was advised not to even think off fitting one !!

Yes but used in conjunction with this bad boy http://turbonator.co.uk/ should see at least 100+BHP in any engine
