Default Best brake pads

My car has started making a grinding noise when braking from the front so I think the pads are done. I had Mintex pads before and they were terrible when cold. What are the best pads for me that will work from cold?

I have dimpled and grooved discs all round and braided hoses on a 275bhp bugeye wrx wagoon.

Cheers

I'm sure Ian Godney or the gentleman above could sort you out if you give them a call?

When they're bedded in, can you post your subjective feelings on their performance/feel/etc.?

I've just finished bedding them in with Ian's grooved discs, on the newage wrx 4 pots and they are simply amazing! Best pads I've used on my impreza.

I swear by DS2500s used then on std 4 pots and now AP 4 pots and also on the rear. Perfecet fast road/daily drive pads - do fade a little on track during a long session.

Our Kevlar Fast roads are very popular. Work from cold, without noise. Only £47.99 delivered at the moment too

Godspeed also do Kevlar, but people seem to rate the Orange Stuff.
Try Godspeed for them, mate, you won't go wrong.

"best" is very subjective and IMO doesn't mean 'cheapest'.......

you dont have a "budget" car so why sell yourself short on brakes.....Pagid, Performance Friction, Brembo, Mintex, Ferodo Racing, etc. all produce various ability pads and major on QUALITY

Personaly over the years.
For a car that gets the brakes hammered.
My top two votes in order of preference are...
1. Pagid in various guises
2. EBC Bluestuff

?? not sure what your mate has used as there is not simply one type of material made by Brembo, their race material is currently about the best you can get at World Championship level for bikes!!

as for cars then the new range of HP SPort pads is outstanding for the market its aimed at

Brembo HP SPORT brake pads

Alyn, are these Brembo HP Sport pads available for the Classic Impreza's K-sport 330mm front caliper, too?
