Thanks for the nice words guys!

I'm afraid a FMIC is out of the question since I live in Finland... Here you're only allowed to add 20% to engine power without having to go thru MAJOR tests a pay LOTS of money to get the car legal for road use. I've already passed the "illegal" mark since I'm getting near 300HP, but wouldn't it be nice to have a proper IC at the front to cool things down It's just too obvious that a car with a FMIC has that "little more" under the hood, and that's not a good thing to show where I live

cheers, Miki

If interested, check the specs for my Impreza here !

Looks great!!!!!

Aren't FMIC easy to beat up with road debris? I am thinking of one, but don't want to replace later on.

Question

Nice car!!!!

I'm thinking of putting mesh on all the grill, scoop etc. but was wondering if the mesh in the bonnet scoop slows the flow of air to the intercooler?

I cut out a plastic piece shaped just like the badge, and that piece of plastic is mounted onto the mesh using wire. The badge is obviously mounted directly on the piece of plastic using tape...

Yesss!

I took it off for two reasons, one because it didn't fit 100%, or more correclty, it was a bit difficult to mount it so it would look nice.
Two, after giving it a thought or two, I didn't want to have ANYTHING in the way of the air down to the too-small cooler...

P1Fanatic:

No, they are Flamingo tyres...

Agree, it's a comprimise to have the too-loud sound silensed down a bit... I just have to see to it that noone get's so close to my bumper that they can't see it...
