ive a vf35 turbo here to go on my car,but have been looking at the sc360 billet ones.
what advantage would the sc360 have over the vf35,would it be worth spending the extra money?
thanks.
LOL didn't even take that into consideration,to used to 2.0 plus.
The hybrid AF TD04 would be a great turbo for your setup and engine size, seen some do 280-300 with the right mods.

may be a slight 'step down' from a vf35,but they seem excellant value for money.
a vf35 would not see full boost at 1.4 on a 1.3 untill 4500-4800rpm,whereas the td04 would see that boost at 3800-4000rpm.
ive some slight headwork done, but still on standard cams.
Should have some better flow going then with the head work done and the HTD04 spools exceptionally well, personally I'd go for better spool and give a few ponies at the top end,
Makes for a much better drive on the road which is what its about tbho, not figures to go brag down the pub.

very true, not really to keen on having a lag monster that just spins all the way to 4th,lol!
I 'think' it has cut back blades which will allow for a slightly better top end without giving up the spool,I had a the identical turbo from AET a few years back and tbho it spooled instantly on my scoob.

Just to tell you,you could pick up a nearly knackered standard td04[£50] and have it converted by AET to hybrid for around £400 and end with essentially a brand new unit for £450
