Its a 1993 but was imported in 2000. Has no central locking, no electric windows/mirrors, no abs and keeps up with a 2002 sti thats been played with?

Worth more than what? Looks a nice clean car. It might just be the picture but is the passenger side wing a different colour?

RA's were the cheapest cars of the breed sold at that time because they had so much missing ........ umpteen years later it's condition and exclusivity that add value

Does yours have a dash mounted intercooler spray switch?

IIRC the RA was the only car with a dash mounted spray button........so I guess it's an RA with a few bits changed.

Rooferman is right, your MY RA came in red and white, there are so few red ones about the urban myth is that they didn't actually make any red ones LOL

Some later versions came in white only

How much did you pay for it if you don't mind me asking..........for some strange reason I seem to recognise the car.

Strangely, the likes of aircon, electric wondows etc were optional extras... mine has A/C also.

If I remember correctly, the red ones were version 1 only (possibly 2 also) and didnt have a rear spoiler.... certainly not that one, thats a Version 3 spoiler.

Chassis code... GC8.... the plate's on the nearside suspension turret.

Certainly sounds/looks like an RA.

As for the boot, someone's probably butchered an undrilled one.

I've never seen them on V2's as standard. Mine's a late '95 and came with the low level spoiler.

g7prs.............the STi cars came after the first WRX RA's

There were no version 1's of anything as they didn't know there was going to be any other versions LOL It should have red/black interior, Nardi steering wheel and gear ****, no fogs or covers, no sills, no maplight, no spoiler........etc but strangely enough as TinyTim says you could specify aircon LOL

Post the applied model number or look on the SIDC site. Avoid the catherine and ken site as it's a bit flakey LOL

right ill check codes in morning, rear seats are black and red. rear fog light has been added, steering wheel is an aftermarket jobbie i think the skirts are an after market fit and no maplight? it only has a light in the middle of the car? is that what you mean?

If it owes you £1600, and its as tidy as it looks, i'd say not.
