unfortunately i need to sell my pride and joy but not that bad i will take silly offers,
right first off i have a reciept for £1505 from 2 weeks ago for simtek ecu, 440 injectors, new 3bar map sensor new 3port solenoid and mapping.
the car is a 94 wrx in silver 56k vgc with jun splitter alloy bonnet sti 6 spoiler(not shown in pics) 4 pots with mintex grooved disks and pads done 800 miles, fog replaced with duct and cover 3" turbo back less than 2 months old, sti 4 tmic strut brace 17" wrx alloys in athracite with very good tyres. taxed till june 2011 mot till july 2011 it is in superb condition with only a few age related marks (no rust),
the car is currently running 1.15 bar . call me on 07540850084 for more info
the car has developed a problem on no3 piston and it will need sorting as it only drives above 3k revs misfire below that still runs and hold boost fine but will obviously need sorting been quoted £370 to have the piston replaced as everything else is ok it was a bad coilpack which caused the problem which has beed replaced everything else still ok but im not using the car as i dont want it to get any worse ,
£2000

Don't you just hate titles like this.
And then you read this
It'll need a bit more doing to it than just chuck in a new piston. Where do you think the damaged pieces have ended up? The engine is fubared, so very good condition it is not!
It is probably going to cost the new owner at least £1500 to sort that. £370.00 is the best price I have ever seen seen to repair a problem like that. You could almost have it repaired and keep for yourself at that price.

Why not just be honest in the title then?
Or why not fix it yourself as you have a very good quote there and sell it on, especially as it is such a minor job?
Call me cynical if you wish.
