it is one of enginetuners down pipes.
under the inlet manifold it is alloy tube. but to fit the 3 inch tube under it, you will need to remove the fuel rails and lugs from the inlet manifold
it is alot easyser to fir the tapered down size pipe. am not sure if it makes any difference at all?

Hi Alan, to be fair at the time the power i wanted the md321t delivered but im so close to 500 bhp ill like to see it after all the effort ive gone through. Thank you for building me a great 2.1 engine.
I would like to see near the 500 mark eventually , and it was Duncan who had mentioned the S206 on Clives car funnily enough ..... what is the cost of the s206 with all the parts..ie pipe, intake etc ???
If i was going to go rotated it would be a second hand purchase probably, so just weighing up the costs atm...

The turbo is £1095 + vat inc fitting kit and 3 inch custom elbow, the downpipe is £180+ vat, for the intake you can either use an SFS or Samco 3 inch inlet for your version of car, or talk to Daone as he appears to have the neatest DIY solution we have seen to date.
Manifold spacers and a power steering relocation kit will certainly help gain some room for the larger inlet. The turbo is available from stock so get your order in before the January rise in VAT and save yourself 2.5 %.

Anyone want a Gt30 Hybrid and a "3 downpipe....
Which turbo would be best suited on a 2.0l with AVCS heads wanting 450ish with spool coming in under 4k out of the RCM, SC, Lateral & engine tuners turbos? Ideally with abit of head room for future increaments

on a 2liter md555 engine tuner
sc46 scooby clinic
md321t and md321t+ from lateral
Alan would the SC46 really make 450? After reading the looong billet turbo thread i noticed that the SC46 billet only managed 426 on a 2.0l. I cant recall but there was also a issue with the setup therefore the 426. Has there been any records of the SC46 billet making 450 on a 2.0l?
I do like the MD321T which i previously had on my 2.5 but i want to try something different. The T did not spool as quick as expected to on the 2.5 therefore i fear it may be laggy on the 2.0l.

Of course it's all about the specifics. If you asked me about a track car, I'd go for the S206.
If any amount of power is available from anything, Martyn will find it and that's a fact!
We've found often enough that any turbo that makes a certain power output on a 2.5 will make it on a 2 litre as well. We've used the SC46 recently quite a bit, and it's just excellent on the 2.1. The extra capacity gives you the spool, which is torque of course, and the SC46 just feels great pootling about on mid throttle.
