i'm wanting a h brace or the summit racing braces for the front of the engine.

not sure if i'll be wasting my money as they might not fit due to the intercooler pipe.

can anyone confirm if it will fit from looking at the below pics?

Presume it's a Hybrid fmic? Not the best of fitment tbh are they.I ended up cutting a piece off mine as it was catching on speed bumps

 

hi mate, sounds like your having the same problem as me, yes its a hybrid fmic lol and thats the highest i can get the pipe.. its not hitting any bumps any more.. just really want a h brace or the like .

 

Front Crossmember brace I reckon you'll struggle unless you can frig it through ?

H-Brace no probs, but get the jacking plate brace too

Mine doesn't catch anymore but i still have to be careful.I'll end up next year having a pipe made up to sort it i reckon

why they ever made the intercooler pipes to follow that path on the hybrids is just beyond me.

 

Dam! Is the piping for FMIC on Bugeyes different to Classics? So everytime you blow a pipe, you have to jack up dee car?

 

53: whats the gap like from where the sump is and the brace? 10 cm gap? or is it flush? by this i mean how low from the floor.

the IC pipe is about 4cms lower than my sump.. is their another sort of sump guard i could get at least? if i cant fit that as my car is quite low and that is my main worry.

aladin: i havnt had any pipes blow off but if one was to come off.. i dont think it'd be the one under the car.
