I hope to god it won't be a MY03, I've just purchased a MY02

Seriously though, Subaru need a bit of Italian style injecting into their designs. Pinifarina didn't do any harm for Peugeot with the 205 et al.

P1Fanatic - how can you call the 205 brick-shaped It was, and still is, a beautiful design and the shape is far more curvy than any of the Fiestas and Golfs of the time.

Sure, it has aged a bit now, but IMHO the car still looks fresh when you see a clean example.

And it was Pininfarina that designed this great marque, though not quite sure whether they had anythig to do with the 405.

I'll second exactly what DW said - they did do the 205 and it still looks cool today - in comparison to the other cars of its time it looked much better. And unlike Golfs etc you could actually tell which a GTI was

Thumbs up

Does that mean the boot will now become a device for holding the bits that fall off.
If I wanted a fake looking Ferrari then I'd but a pug/fiat. I hope this guy’s influence doesn't bring this to Subaru.

As the owner of an Alfa 156 as well as a Scoob I'm as happy as a pig in glabber ! Check out the fantastic Alfa exhibition currently on at the Science Museum. I'd have thought Subaru performance & reliability + Italian design flair = marriage made in heaven.

Shippd,

I agree with you. I owned a 156 Selespeed up untill October last year when I took delivery of my WRX. Just needed the performance of the Scooby and reliability.

Give the Italian's some credit though, the Selespeed worked well.
