You bought a performance car before doing some insurance quotes??

Your Lack of NCB may be a bit of an issue for you, especially as I'm guessing you probably haven't owned something similar before which can be mother sticking point for the insurance co.

I fell victim to someone slamming their brakes on at a junction 2 days before i would have had 5 years ncb so the insurance set me back to 2. A-plan quoted me £1300 on an import wrx which i thought was fair tbh. Im 27 also, iv had 3 wrx's now but i didnt know that it makes much difference.

 

It does make a difference, but you need to make them aware you've previously owned performance cars, and if they ask you also need to be able to prove it

 

Sky insurance.
Being a fully paid up member on here also gets you a discount with them.

 

There is an entire section dedicated to insurance on here that could be a starting point for you.
