Question Drop Link replacement

Hi all

My car is making alot of noise and I think it may be the drop link, I'm not too mechanical so I'm not completely sure, is there a garage near to Hayes that would be able to check and replace if necessary hopefully today.

Thanks

Joseph

If there is no speacialist garages near you, you could try quikfit/fastfit mate.. i think it would be unlikely they would have a new droplink though in stock

Doesn't need any specialist other than a good mechanic and a ramp to get under the car safely and properly. Drop links are easy to source and fit, and if you buy Whiteline items you should get replacement bolts too (old ones can break).
You need a garage to look at the car's underside first, then decide if it's drop link related or not. Could be any number of suspension/ exhaust fitment clunks and clangs. To be honest even going to a Kwikfit may help you initially, and not cost much. Just don't buy any performance parts through anyone other than say Graham Goode Racing or one of the forum sponsors.

DON'T go near Kwik-Fit etc, for your car's sake.

DO make sure that decent aftermarket droplinks are fitted, NOT the standard Subaru plastic sh1te.

I have never had any probs with Kwik-Fit but then i have only ever had them look and check things underneath which they did accurately.. just saying if there is no other option they have a ramp!
