I have a lot of folders listed in "My Documents". I had them in alphabetical order e.g. AACabs at the beginning to Xmas at the bottom.
I must have pressed a magic key by mistake as now they are all listed the other way around starting at Xmas.
This must be very easy to put right but buggered if I can find an Options key that will do it.
Who knows
??

Thanks Stevie - but I think I have made things worse
I clicked on the bar but then the list appeared as full screen and still in the wrong order. I can't seem to get it back to the smaller quarter screen size! Does this make any sense? Sorry. I have even re-booted but lists remain full screen which I don't want!!

OK - I got back to quarter screen size but which bar do you mean? There is one above list which has NAME on it and lots of options relating to individual files but I can't see an option to change order of main file list. d

OK "Name" comes up above the list of folders and this does give me a huge list of options to manage folders but NOTHING that I can see regarding changing list format as I want - and I have looked hard!!. Thanks for comments though. david
Hi David, is this XP or other?
Generally, if you click Name, then Name again, job done.
Just click Name, even though it is selected.
If no one else can answer it, then a screenshot sometimes helps to sort it
